Scripture Reading: God’s Everlasting Love
In our conversations with those who have lost someone, there are simply times when words just don’t cut it. What could be more frustrating than attempting to express the inexpressible or to want to take it to the Lord, but be at a loss for words? To want with all of our hearts to be able to offer a comforting word or to pray from the depths of our being, and yet not know where to begin. Sometimes words just don’t cut it. But in our scripture reading this morning in Romans, the Apostle Paul addresses this. He assures us that when words fail to come that the Spirit takes over when we are at a loss for words the Spirit steps in.
