It’s What’s For Dinner

Scripture Reading: Bread from Heaven

Has anyone here among us ever know someone who was a picky eater? Anyone who has ever been around kids, or have had kids that are picky eaters, are certainly familiar with the classic line that’s often spoken when that carefully prepared plate of food is placed in front of them, “I don’t like that.” To which many a parent says, “How do you know you don’t like it, you’ve never had it before.” To which they’d say, “I don’t care, I’m still not going to eat it.” I see heads nodding so I think we can all relate to this particular scenario. In our house, when our children were younger, we had one rule if we were serving something new and they turned their nose up at it. We’d always insist that you must take a “no thank you bite.”
