The last section of this text may sound a little bit familiar because it’s often used in weddings. “Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you lay, I will lay; you’re God will be my God, your people will be my people.” I find that so odd that we use that in weddings because it’s what a daughter-in-law is saying to a mother-in-law, and I think “How many daughter-in-laws would say those words to their mother-in-law.”
