Plymouth Congregational UCC Hosts Annual Fall Fundraiser
Spreading the Love event proceeds to benefit local community
Burlington, Wis., September 21, 2021 – Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ of Burlington, Wis. is hosting its annual fall fundraising event at Hawk’s View Golf Club on Friday, November 5. The event name, Spreading the Love, conveys the church’s mission of benefitting those who are in need both locally and globally. Ticket sales and donations will enable the Plymouth missions team to support the local community and beyond by providing support to over 20 organizations and programs including Love, Inc., Burlington Transitional Living Center, Church World Services, Milwaukee Rescue Mission, The Night Ministry-Chicago, Feed My Starving Children, and as-needed disaster relief.
The public is invited to the annual event that has been hosted by Plymouth Church since 1997. A fun evening is in store including a gourmet dinner, live musical entertainment by the N.E.W. Piano Guys, live and silent auctions, and generous raffle baskets.

Supporters need not be present to contribute with a raffle ticket purchase. Guests will enjoy the energetic live auctioneer, Terry Schmaling, who turns bidding into entertainment. Auction items include a two-night Las Vegas air and hotel package for two and other generous donations of merchandise and gift certificates from area businesses and Plymouth Church members.
Plymouth Church’s longstanding fall fundraising tradition includes past events named Fall that Jazz, Auction on the Apple Farm and Autumn Fest on the Apple Farm. The annual event began with a chili dinner hosted on-site in the church recreation hall 24 years ago and has grown to better accommodate a growing number of guests in the spacious and beautiful setting of Burlington’s Veterans Terrace at Echo Park.
