Men’s Breakfast

Our weekly Men’s Breakfast is a fun and casual way to get to know some of the other guys from church. We meet each Friday at 6:00 a.m. at Sheila Mae’s Town Fryer. Yes, it’s early but well worth the effort! Led by Ron Moersfelder, it’s a lectionary based study using the Weekly Seeds articles from the UCC website. We occasionally veer from that to study a Christian book or book of the Bible. Get an early start to your Friday, enjoy a breakfast and fellowship. Please come check it out.

In addition to those shown in the photo, John Kranich and Jason Fricke attend regularly. The Men’s group has been meeting on Friday mornings for over 30 years. John Wilson was instrumental in starting the group. Other early attendees were Ralph Wilson, Hank Soetenga, Duane Perry, Dick Shecterle and Ron Moersfelder.

ASAP Prayer GroupFolded hands on bible

ASAP – Always Say A Prayer. Folks with the gift of prayer meet twice monthly to surround the efforts of the Church with prayer. Working in concert with the church office and minister, they pray about issues of concern to meet the prayer needs of the congregation and Church members. They includes prayers for members of the community that people are concerned about; prayers for events in our country such as fires, floods, and so forth; as well as prayers for the world for famine, earthquakes, hurricanes and the like.

If you’re interested in joining the prayer group or for more information, contact the church office.
